What Temperature Is Too Hot to Leave My Bernese Mountain Dog Outside?

My 12 week old Bernese mountain dog pup loves sitting outside. It has been in the mid 70s up to 80 and I worry about it being too hot for him. I especially worry about when he’s grown and has long fur. I do make sure he has plenty of water out there. So my question is two fold, really: What temperature can he handle now (for an hour or two) and what will he be able to handle full grown?

Just never leave him outside when you aren’t home. If it gets too hot for him, he’ll ask to come inside.
Also, make sure he has plenty of clean water and shade available.

70′s and low 80′ (as long as its not humid ) is okay. If you are hot, so is your puppy. If the area is more shaded, its probably better. Make sure he has access to plenty of water (like you do). Same temp for puppy and full grown.
